ChowTime Guest Manager is a free restaurant guest management system that integrates reservations, wait list, table management, customer contacts, guest messaging, and productivity analytics.

When you launch the app for the first time, a tutorial guides you through the steps required to set up ChowTime for your restaurant. ChowTime is organized as a set of integrated tools that you can navigate using standard iOS interface conventions:

The RESERVATION BOOK allows you to enter reservations manually, view online reservations received from your restaurants website or Facebook page, and seat reserved parties when they arrive.

The SEATING MANAGER allows you to manage and monitor the status of your tables and shared seating areas using a drag and drop interface. ChowTime supports counter seating, standard (private) tables, community (shared) tables, pre-combined tables and on-the-fly combinations.

The WAIT LIST MANAGER allows you to automatically seat walk-in parties and manage your wait list. Customers can specify particular types of seating that they require or would be willing to accept (e.g. indoor/outdoor, counter, community table, etc.). In addition, the app provides automatic wait time estimates using a sophisticated statistical algorithm based on your restaurants seating history.

GUEST MESSAGING provides access to emails received from customers who have replied to automatic confirmations after making online reservations, notifications of special requests submitted with online reservations and replies to text messages sent to waiting parties.

The CUSTOMER DATABASE maintains contact information, guest preferences and reservation history in conjunction with iOS Contacts. This feature enables you to leverage the power of third-party apps that interoperate with iOS Contacts.

The SYSTEM DASHBOARD displays cover counts and productivity statistics for the current shift, a chronological seating log, and alerts for overdue waits, longer than expected table turns, and late-arriving reservations.

ChowTime is typically installed on an iPad that resides permanently at the restaurant reception desk and serves as the nexus of guest management operations.

ChowTime Cloud customers can use this app to access their account data.
